that combine different engagement activities and exercise modalities including the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, Yoga, Boxing, Kickboxing, Acro Yoga and Salsa Dancing to help kids develop their inner Superhero and athlete! Our Playcation™ afterschool program runs for 8-10 weeks and consists of 30-45 minute classes that meet 1-2 times per week for preschool and K-5th grade. We limit the class size to 6-15 students to ensure each child gets the undivided attention they need for their overall development. Please send us a message for pricing and other questions!
CAPOEIRA BRAZILIAN MARTIAL ARTS
CAPOEIRA KIDS COMBINES
THE BRAZILIAN MARTIAL ART OF CAPOEIRA
With different interactive activities and games to help children move their bodies in unique and playful ways! Kids will enjoy practicing the fundamentals of this Brazilian martial art, learn basic gymnastics, do different agility and fitness games, speak a little Portuguese, play Capoeira music and get to unleash their inner martial artist and athlete! Children progress to a higher cord (or colored wristband) in Capoeira as they learn more skills in this fun martial art and every new season in our Capoeira Kids program!
NON-CONTACT BOXING & KICKBOXING
NON-CONTACT BOXING & KICKBOXING
TKO – Teach Kids to Overcome combines the basics of boxing, kickboxing and self-defense. The students use a variety of equipment including focus mitts, kicking pads and striking shields, but do not spar or have contact with one another to ensure a fun, safe, non-aggressive environment. The class helps teach kids to overcome different challenges and fears with fitness, creates better interaction with other children, and gives them a sense of self-confidence! Each child also gets their own pair of hand wraps and cool colored boxing gloves (included in the fee). Children progress to a higher belt (or colored boxing wraps) as they learn more skills every new season in our TKO program!
SALSA & DANCE
Salsa steps with dance-inspired fitness moves to keep kids moving, grooving and having fun because what’s more fun than dancing?!! The class combines individual, partner and group dancing, all done to a wide variety of upbeat music. Kids will have fun learning the basics of partner dancing, gain self-confidence and enjoy interacting with other kids! More advanced footwork and fun partner drills are given to children returning to our Salsa Happy Feet program!
YOGA & BREATH WORK
MINDFUL YOGINI COMBINES
BREATH WORK &
as a holistic approach to help kids digitally detox and improve their fitness, focus and self-confidence! Animal names and familiar shapes are used to help teach Yoga poses. Different breathing techniques and guided meditation exercises are taught to help children relax and reset. Kids will have fun being Mindful Yoginis in our class! This class is great for children who have never taken Yoga before and for kids returning to our program!
ACRO YOGA FOR KIDS

With an emphasis on safety and communication, students learn different partner-poses and have fun making shapes with their bodies and buddies in this class! More advanced and fun partner moves are given to children returning to our program every new season!
Brett was a celebrity trainer on NBC’s BIGGEST LOSER and founder of SWEAT WITH SOUL, who was named one of the world’s “Top 100 Health & Fitness Influencers” by Greatist. He has a BS in Psychology and Biology from Claremont McKenna College, and is certified as Personal Trainer, Lifestyle and Nutrition Coach, 200 RYT Yoga Instructor and Capoeira martial arts instructor.

Robin Mock has been moving and dancing her entire life. She started ballroom dancing at 14 years old, taught collegiate ballroom dance at Indiana University and has competed and performed in salsa, ballroom and hustle dance styles. She recently added Acro Yoga to her life and enjoys the similarities between partner dancing and partnered Acro Yoga.
For the winter, in addition to teaching in the schools, we will be offering classes outdoors on Sundays 10:00-11:00am at Chess Park in Playa Vista in Los Angeles. Please check the schedule section of our homepage to see the times and locations of all our classes.
